I love this show. My educational back ground is Criminal justice. To see Rodie, with his illness that could return & all the things he has sacrificed to work these cold cases., well I am in awe. Eugenie has no immediate family left, yet Rodie is still fighting to keep the case open & active, chasing every lead that comes by, no matter how thin it may be... to see that the person that killed her goes to prison as he deserves.
It is raw, gritty & it is just touching to know that the team is fighting to get the people in jail that belong there.
I was so entranced by Season 1, I bought Season 2 sight unseen.
Rodie, you, your family & the team are in my thoughts & I pray you stay healthy & are able to catch these people that have no right to be walking around free while friends & family of the victim(s) are serving a life sentence without their koved ones, stuck with not knowing who deprived them of their loved ones...... The real reason why will really never be known, in a sense, it does not matter. The killers had no right to take people away. I will be watching & I have turned several other people into fans..... I think it's wonderful to see how much they care about getting to who killed these folks & it raises their routing value through the roof to see them fight for justice at the cost of some of their own relationships. It is must see for me.

I'm so wrapped up in this The show is the best thing going. I thank God that there is the kind of people who still want to clear the world of the scum bags. Aubrey's facial expressions tell it all. He's so good at "reading" people but I don't think he knows his face is an open book & if you pay attention he emotes every feeling. The sign of a really good man who is all truth & dedication for his son, his job, & his morals. I'm really upset that the team does not get the recognition it so deserves. We see the Major during the arrest, but we don't see the people like Aubrey & Rodie that lost so much sleep, worked so hard, & put there lives on the front line for this justice. What we do see mostly is the guy that sits behind the desk taking all the glory not even publicly thanking them.

Love this show!!!! Season 1& 2 are the best! Can't get Season 3 anywhere but the detectives are different 3 and I want more of Louisiana detectives...he brings you not only to understand the victims but pulls you in to understand him as human being and his passion for justice! By the end of season 2 I found out season is different due to location and detectives....I was bummed!!! I want season 1 & 2 over and over!

Great series, however, there is a lot of repetition (showing the same scenes over and over again to drag out the story line and keep you watching). This gets frustrating because for roughly a 45 show, there is really only 20 min of original content. Because of that I often fast forward through the repetitive stuff and this is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Also, the second season loses focus on Eugenie's murder and takes a turn towards yet another cold case instead.

Love this series. Only downside is that they have yet to solve the Eugenie case from season 1. Everyone obviously thinks it's the husband. They solved a few other cases in season 2 though. I love Rodie, he seems like such a good cop. Just wish they would solve the first case they started.

At first, we weren't too sure about this series because it only followed one or two cases. Very different than the forensic shows that cover one case in each episode. Eventually, though, we were hooked. I sure hope that there will be a season 3!
