"The Voice" is back for its 21st season with a new celebrity judge, and blind auditions begin with the season premiere on Monday, September 20 (9/20/2021).
"The Voice" season 21 premiere will air on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, and can be streamed live on fuboTV, DirecTV Stream and other live TV services.
In the season premiere, the first of five "Blind Auditions" episodes debuts, where coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Ariana Grande (in her first season) whittle down the pool of talented contenders to just 48 (12 a piece) who will advance into the battle stage. Each coach gets one block to prevent another coach from selecting a contestant.
Grande told "TODAY" that she's already been bonding with fellow coaches, and is ready for the challenges the show will present.
"I'm very quick to form certain relationships with people and care very quickly," Grande told TODAY. "So I was expecting it to be somewhat difficult but not as difficult as it actually has been. It's pretty tough. But everyone's amazing, and it's been beautiful to meet so many amazing artists."
